Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, Bianca grew up as a contemporary dancer and performer. She moved to the US when she was 18 to pursue dance, but instead got a BA in Psychology and a Master in Cognitive Psychology. Wife and stay at home mom to three children, she developed a passion for interior design as a vehicle for expressing her creativity and love for the arts. She lived in several old and outdated homes, and with her vision she restored their beauty in a modern and unexpected way.
Through these home transformations she caught the eye of her friends who enlisted her services to help renovate their homes. It wasn't long before she built a strong referral based clientele on the East Coast. Bianca later joined a NYC based interior design firm where she stayed until relocating to Southern California. Once settled she founded Casa Designs as a principal designer with the goal of blending east and west coast vibes.
Her aesthetics reflect her passion for modern design combined with her innate love for timeless Brazilian furniture craftsmanship. The incorporation of different wood species, natural materials and finishes, texture, and one a kind custom made pieces that stand the test of time, is how she creates a story from her client’s prospective. Bianca’s love for dance is still present today in her designs through well choreographed spaces that engage the senses and tell a story. She currently lives in Hermosa Beach, California where she inspires clients to blend modern aesthetics and unexpected curated pieces to create approachable luxury designs.
